NYC Pool fun

Originally last night, the girls and I planned to meet Noel to go to the shopping center in New York, when we were called to the pool by Maya's friend Riley for an hour. So, Noel changed up his plans to be with his friends and Belle, Maddy and I went to the pool to meet Maya and her friends. I sat on the adult watching chairs while Maya and her friends took my girls sliding. The boy, Lucas came to me after one of their slides with Isabelle crying. Everyone darted up the slide stairs to go again, while Lucas talked to me. Eventually, I decided to give Isabelle a dummy so that she wouldn't be upset, and go with Lucas, and I bet he and Belle caught up to the rest of them. The whole way to the shopping center, Isabelle talked and talked and talked about how much fun that was. Madeleine said it was a little less fun for her because she and Maya were caught going down the slide with the kid who screams really loudly. For the most part, I could say that me and my girls had a good night last night. Wonder what's in store for us now.

Maybe not that

Yesterday, I was actually talking to one of the main characters from Maddy's favorite show. She agreed that I can surprise Maddy and Belle by bringing them to NYC to talk to her like I did. We've been on our way since last night. We've been very anxious to reach New York. Now, to be in New York, we need someone to help us with everything we aren't used to. Australia is the complete opposite of New York. So, Maya, the main character of Maddy's show, hasn't replied to us since last night. We don't really know if we can make it to New York without hiring a tour guide. We don't wanna do that. We might just have to turn back.

Its honestly been my dream to go here. NYC. Come on, who would be so excited? I was, but we might have to turn back, sadly.

Big apple calling...

The day can't come quickly enough. We (not quite all of us) are heading to New York. I'm beyond excited. It's my first big trip anywhere and it is NYC!!!  How could one not be excited? I've started planning.  I'm booking things, and with each thing I do for this trip I get more and more excited. It's going to be a memory making trip. I expect all that history and culture can only be good for me.

I have a list of must-see sites, must-see shows and must-eat-at restaurants. I'm willing it to come sooner, but scared it will be over before I can say 'anyone for a hot dog'.  I'm going to try it all. Something about NY just gets me giddy.

I have to say this is the first genuine excitement I've had (other than the birth of my babies) for many years. I have just so needed this. It will be very good for my soul. It will be fun. Real FUN.

I will be talking lots about this (insert apology).  But who can blame me?

My new video

YouTube is something that helps me with a lot of stuff. If you make thoughtful videos about your life, you can kind of control yourself more. Today I made a video for my beautiful Isabelle Broadhead.

These are photos of Isabelle.
